Espace Plongée Martinique

Espace Plongée Martinique is a scuba diving club situated in the marina of the Pointe du Bout in Trois-Ilets. We offer dives for all levels, with two daily half-day trips to the South Caribbean coast (departures at 8.30am and 2pm), and a full day trip once a week to the North Caribbean coast (which includes 2 dives and a meal).  Night dives and two tank dives are organised on request. Espace Plongée Martinique is also a dive school that offers instruction ranging from your first dive to becoming an instructor, as well as a centre for disabled divers. All equipment awaits our divers on board our boats that have been specially designed for scuba diving (a 13m catamaran and an 11m monohull). Get on board with us and come and live your dreams!

SCUBA DIVING CLUB EPM

The club provides you with new and perfectly maintained equipment, along with a team of qualified instructors who have perfect knowledge of all the dive spots in Martinique. The boats are fast, robust and sociable (with a cover, fresh water shower, seats and an outer deck), and accompany you on all trips in total safety and comfort.

From beginner to experienced diver, alone or in a group, Espace Plongée Martinique offers all dive possibilities: discovery, training, independence…For a half-day or full day, on all of the Caribbean coast.

START – First scuba dive : 60 €

The gateway to the wonderful world of scuba diving!

Go aboard one of our comfortable boats to discover the extraordinary underwater sites of Anses d’Arlet. From the first meters of immersion, coral fish, turtles and multicolored sponges will be your companions in this aquatic exploration. One monitor per person for a custom frame during this ride up to 6 meters deep (according to French regulations). The baptism of diving is accessible to all, from 8 years, not even need to know how to swim. You will leave with your baptismal certificate and full of beautiful pictures in the eyes!

Space Diving Martinique offers dives every morning and every afternoon, every day (morning outing 8.30-11.30, afternoon departure 14h-17h, meeting at the club 20 minutes before departure) .

Complete day in the north:136 €

(146 € for non-autonomous divers)

This day includes 2 dives, a meal in the restaurant and various snacks and drinks on the boat. In the program :

– Breakfast on board, often with dolphins to accompany us.

– Wreck of RORAIMA (Niv3 min) or falling north of St Pierre.

– Aperitif in the direction of Carbet.

– Meals at sinners feet in the sand

– Afternoon dive drifting on the enraged Cape for all

– Fruit platter and open bar on the return

PE12: 210 €

FIRST CERTIFICATION IN 3 DIVES

The PE12 (Boxed Diver at 12m) allows you to get your first certification in just 3 technical dives (after first scuba dive). You will then be trained to go down to 12 meters deep with a monitor.

LEVEL 1: 400 €

THE FIRST GENUINE LEVEL OF UNDERWATER DIVE

In 6 technical dives (after first scuba dive), you will then be able to access the space of 20 meters deep with a monitor.

LEVEL 2: € 530

ACCESS TO AUTONOMY

In at least 10 technical dives (after level 1), level 2 will allow you to make your first dives in autonomy up to 20 meters deep, and to descend with a monitor up to 40 meters.

LEVEL 3: 530 €

THE MOST IMPORTANT LEVEL IN DIVING LEISURE

In at least 10 technical dives (after level 2), level 3 will allow you to reach a complete range up to 60 meters deep.

Dives for childrens

You can dive from the age of 8, in accordance with current government standards. The equipment is adapted to the body shape and size of each child. Depending on the age and competence of each child, they can gain different certificates: bronze, silver and gold diver. From the age of 12, with a medical certificate, the child can complete their Level 1. From the age of 10, they can complete the Open Water Junior PADI.

Groups

From groups of 10 divers, you can profit from a promotional price. You can organise a personalised programme with either a day in the North, a dive at Le Diamant, a night dive, shipwrecks, reefs…

Boat hire

For groups of experienced divers and club trips, we can offer our approved boat for 25 people, with a licensed driver and dive supervisor. The dive equipment can be left on board. Hiring the boat includes tanks and weights. On request, we can look into the possibility of providing stabilisers, wetsuits, regulators and perhaps even other smaller boats.

Martinique is composed of three dive areas, situated along the ‘downwind’ coast in the Caribbean sea. Visibility of around 40 metres horizontally allows you to appreciate the beauty of the seabed. The Atlantic side is not commonly explored, with only one centre offering trips in this area, which are often troubled with difficult weather conditions.

covered in white sand and abundant vegetation offers beautiful sites, accessible to all levels. In blue on the map.

In the South

with its large coral reefs will blind you with a technicolor spectacle, from its luminosity, rocks emerging from the water and the variety of tropical fish that live off Martinique’s coast. Not forgetting the famous Rocher du Diamant…in green on the map.

In the North

famous for its reefs and its historic wrecks, offers us volcanic sand and very special sites. In orange on the map.
